「The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.」

「Beautiful and sparkling clean rooms set in a really wonderful piece of land. The photos don't do it justice! My one complaint would be that we had heard so much about the wonderful breakfasts and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the more extensive menu is exclusively offered to people stopping in for breakfast only. We would have happily paid to upgrade from our free breakfast! 」

「Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were...

He pointed out wildlife that you could see around the property. family friendly. It is a little bit away from the town but we liked being more in nature. the stars were so bright and the sunset was beautiful. I'd stay there again!」

「Location is about 20–25 minutes from downtown. The space is cozy and suitable for a family of four, and the balcony is very nice. However, there was an ongoing odor in the room, and the bathroom had a strong smell, which affected our overall comfort. 」

「Room and property are beautiful. They offer breakfast but wasn't able to try it due to our scheduling didn't coordinate with their 7am start time. That is one thing I would change is maybe have breakfast start at 6 for people going on tours so they can eat first. They did provide one day a to go box the night before with sandwich and fruit which was nice. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and they have a .25 mile hike thru woods on their property that is awesome. The view of volcano was...
