"There was a lot of construction going on that we were unaware of during booking. Noise started at 8am and went throughout the day. We would have booked elsewhere if we need we would be in a construction area, for the price paid."

"We loved our stay here. The property was fantastic, with a view that cannot be beat. The service, cleanliness, wifi and concierge support was excellent. We were one of the few that didn’t have their own car and so relied on drivers to take us to La Fortuna and activities. This was about $70 each way and so just be aware this property is about 40 minutes out of town. The peace and quiet, however was lovely after a day of activities. Would highly recommend."

"My mom and I had such a wonderful time at the Manoa Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly, and wanted to point out Jose, the bartender, who made us feel right at home. He was so welcoming and kind, which made our trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this resort and will be sharing our experience with friends and family. "Camino Verde was such a cute property. It’s not your typical hotel- it feels very homey and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The eating area also doubles as a “living room” of sorts with people hanging out there in the afternoons and evenings enjoying the free coffee, tea, and popcorn. The staff are excellent as well. Diego was so kind and helpful and was always a smiling face ready to greet us. My kids (and my husband and I) voted this as our favorite stay in Costa Rica due to all the factors listed above. "

"I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Liberia airport. I wasn't finished acquiring my rental car until 1700 hrs and did not want to drive 3 or 4 more hours to La Fortuna or Monteverde. It served as my base for Lake Arenal Catamaran tour, Viento Fresco waterfall hike (which is changing it's name to Manakin Waterfall Nature Reserve), and a day at Treetopia hanginging bridges in Monteverde. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a days adventure. You could even pull off a Scandanavian type spa treatment alternating the hot tub and the cool pool for a hot/cold treatment. There are water activities, such as windsurfing and kayaking nearby on Lake Arenal. The hotel also has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal and has a 1 km hiking trail on it's property. The gardens around the hotel are amazing. The brewery was the first brewery in Costa Rica. The owner JP and his son are the brewers and JP has achieved Master of Brewing Art. He will gladly give you a tour of the brewery. Allison and Jose were very friendly bartenders, both speaking good english. Allison makes an excellent spicy margarita. All the staff were excellent,the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all it was a very good stay."
