This is our go hotel when we visit Carmel. It is far enough away from the busy streets, but close enough to all the shops and restaurants. The grounds are very well kept and very Zen for a peaceful time. They are pet friendly so this is a plus for us, we highly recommend the Tradewinds hotel. Oh, did I mention the breakfast every morning, that is a special treat?

Excellent place to stay - lovely, comfortable and in a great location. The only downside was that there’s no A/C, which would have made the stay even better.

Tradewinds Carmel was wonderful! Exceptional value for Carmel! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was great, roomy, a nice balcony and warm fireplace! The breakfast baskets were absolutely perfect, more hotels should do this! I will stay here again, no doubt.

The room and property was clean. We stayed here about 10 years ago, it has definitely aged and has wear and tear since then. Carpet was loose and bunched up in my room. Also fire alarm was beeping constantly. Breakfast was just okay, I would have preferred to eat in a dining area instead of the bedroom

We had an ocean view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Just know the view has power lines and other buildings in the front of Ocean. Room was nice, but warm and a bit musty smelling. They do have fans to help with the air movement. Loved our morning breakfast delivery. The croissants were amazing! We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay last night! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and informative. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely fireplace and a fan, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated having a mini fridge in the room. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!
