Dan is an amazing manager. He gave us an excellent stay at Carmel Hill Lodge. We also had a pet with us and they were on top of cleanliness and room service. They also had a dog area which was super helpful in our stay. When we come back to Monterey, we will be staying here again. Thank you Dan!

The staff was friendly and the check in was quick and easy. The room was larger than expected. The room was clean, beds were comfy and the hardwood floors were a plus since we were in town to scuba dive, wet gear and sand came in the room with us. This room was more than we expected for the rate we paid. I would definitely stay again. A hidden gem for a quick over night stay when you are not looking to have a beach front.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The gentleman that checked me in both times is nice and friendly. The rooms I have stayed in are updated and clean. I like the amenities in the room. There’s a blow dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.

For the price, really an excellent stay! Great location across from the Del Monte shopping center. Perfect for families to grab a quick dinner or Starbucks. Central to Monterey main attractions, about 5-10 min from everything. Very clean. No complaints! Also enjoyed the little outdoor patio area - spent some time reading in the sunshine outside.
