「We loved how friendly all of the staff were in the hotel. The family who run the hotel clearly care very much about each and every guest and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are all lovely people who keep their hotel really clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. I really loved the dining room and pub decor and our breakfasts were served fresh and hot, so 10/10 for the breakfasts! The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. 」

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps.
