A great alternative to the normal Tenby hotels.

We had a really great stay here for the weekend. After looking online at the hotels and other options in Tenby I found The Dunes to be a really cost effective alternative and it doesn’t matter if you don’t play golf! The room was lovely, clean and airy and the walk into town only took a few minutes. The welcome on reception was amazing and the breakfast really recommended.

Booked the room well in advance and had a confirmation and messages from the hotel in advance of our stay. Got to the hotel only to be told that they had no room for us. Poor lady at the front desk tried to help us but the manager stayed in the office and offered no help. Our advice would be to call ahead of your visit to make sure that you actually have a room - or better yet, stay elsewhere. We stayed at The Town Crier and we highly recommend for service, location, cleanliness and comfort.

Restful break

Very friendly staff and all the meals had first class ingredients and were swiftly served. The room was spacious with attractive furnishings. Powerful shower and very useful large shelf in the bathroom. Towels dried quickly. There wasn’t a grab rail in the shower which might worry some people. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the train station, beach and town centre, but is delightfully quiet, day and night. I would definitely like to stay again.

Sunny South Wales.

Really enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Dunes, Tenby. Excellent location adjacent to south beach with views of the first tea & 18th green. Short walk into the town centre. Great facilities with attentive & helpful staff. Hope to return soon.

The room was beautiful, but the first morning they received a brewery delivery at about 7am and it couldn't have been any louder if they'd tried... Throwing the big metal beer barrels around for a good 10-15 minutes, bang underneath all the hotel room windows. I couldn't get back to sleep afterwards!
