Excellent location, very friendly hosts, rooms are small and comfortable, very clean, plenty of choice for the continental breakfast. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, looking forward to returning in the near future.

Amazing location, minutes away from both the beach and selection of pubs / restaurants. Both Steve and Amy were lovely and happy to help. The room had everything you needed and was spotless. Would definitely recommend for a short break. Added bonus of a free car park too.

Perfect short break

We came for a short break here, this spot was perfect as it's right in the high street next to all the pubs and about a 5 minute stroll to the beach. Perfect for what we needed :)

The position is wonderful, a few minutes to the sea. We were able to park by arriving early at 3.00. Very welcoming hosts. Clean, comfortable beds. Hosts on site as it is their own home. Good breakfast of cereals including gluten free without prior request, fresh fruit, melon, fruit juice, GF toast, yoghurt choices. Little pots of marmalade which avoided waste and avoided use of plastic. The 2 bedrooms we booked were beautifully light in bright weather so close to the sea, and although the guest house is on the little High Street we were not troubled by traffic noise. The hosts could not have been more attentive and helpful. I would reccommend this guest house for couples, single visitors or a family. It is so convenient for the beach and nearby places of interest, it is reasonably priced and has all you need as soon as you step outside the door.

A pleasant break.

I found my stay at the Harbourlight Guest House very pleasurable indeed. I chose here as I wanted to be close to the sea but unfortunately because of its position, no sea-view rooms available. However, when you step out of the front door and look to the left the sea is there, just 5 minutes' away on foot! Everywhere looked clean, bright and well-kept. My room was adequate, plenty available on the hospitality tray, shower worked well, hairdryer provided and I was able to adjust the temperature on the radiators. There was a good choice of cereals for breakfast and the cooked option each morning was delicious with plenty of items to choose from. Last, but not least, Steve and Amy, the hosts were very friendly and helpful - with Steve carrying my case up to my room on arrival and to my car on departure. I would recommend this venue wholeheartedly. X
