This hotel was close to the Shrine of Remembrance tram stop, so it was easy to get around without a car. Its an easy walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. It was handy having a kitchenette and there's a grocery store right around the corner. It's an older place but secure and safe.

I stay here often when in Melbourne, always a great stay, parking is easy and affordable. Rooms are always nice, easy walk through the park to Rod Laver for events, trams run right past the hotel also.

The location is perfect and just a 25 min walk into the centre of the city, the staff were lovely and the apartment was spacious but just lacked some kitchen implements etc. it does need a refresh but was fine for us - tram stop a couple of mins walk and the Shrine of Remembrance just across the road and well worth a visit.

Large older, spacious, style of unit. Clean, adequate cook and dining ware, dishwasher helps. Very handy to CBD without noise, on a frequent tram route. Across the road to Melbourne Botanical Gardens and the excellent night light show.

Great location - very serviceable stay.

Great location on St Kilda Road opposite the Shrine. I have stayed here before and believe the standard has dropped since then .But very serviceable place to stay with kitchen and excellent shower and comfy beds. And a balcony with opening doors to fresh air.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is comfortable spacious and well furnished. It was also centrally located. Our initial impression at night was that the place was “old but good”. It had an 80s aesthetic, old carpet and yellowish lights. However in the morning it was a bright spacious warm and comfortable. After 3 nights we felt that this was excellent value. We had to pay $25 a night for the car park and it was easy to access from a side lane. When we went to the city we took advantage of early bird parking at the NGV. (Even though it was close we didn’t have MYKI cards)
