"Great location right on the channel, many rooms have sliders with a walkout patio and chairs overlooking the channel, also within walking distance to the beach and downtown. "
"It was a clean and spacious room. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, sheets and towels had stains but smelled clean. The water smelled horrible. Pulling in it looks like a junk yard. Weird that everything in the room was unplugged and not enough outlets to charge devices. Internet didn't work. Good restaurant just down the rd but not much else. Lots of recreation close. Ok for the price but won't be staying again."

It's a quaint little town and I'm glad it's coming back to life with some new restaurants and things to do. Outdoor activities are the best here, many beaches, trails, dunes, and of course lakes, to explore!

It's a great town! I love that people have kept the downtown beautifully renovated. The movie theater, bookstores, art galleries and Ramsdell are all of interest to us. 💖💖😁

There's a fabulous river boardwalk trail beginning right at Lake Michigan by the hotel that we would highly recommend as well!

It's my hometown and when we visit, we love to drive by the beach and the iconic lighthouse!
"The location is the absolute best with beach access. There was a comfortable bar outside facing the beach. The breakfast was better than expected. My kids loved the pool and hottub which connected indoor to outdoor. "
"Don’t let the stigma of a motel stop you from staying here. The staff was kind and helpful, our room was spacious and clean. And the pool was amazing! I would recommend Bear Motel to any family."
"We were pleasantly surprised that the room was so nice.very modern design.everything worked as it should with one exception.the bathtub floor was very slippery.other than that it exceeded expectations.definitely will stay here again."
"The only bad thing about this inn was the size of the toilet and sink. It was not your standard size but more like a child's size.
Everything else was great! Love all the flowers around the Inn. The food was great. "
