「I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no...

「I stay at a lot of hotels (20-40 a year), and there have only been two instances where I have checked out of a hotel at my own expense without staying the night because it didn't feel right. Unfortunately this was one of them. I want to be fair to the hotel but also give my honest review. Pros: Friendly helpful staff Conviently located」
