If youā€™re looking for a hotel on a budget itā€™s the place. Itā€™s not the Ritz Carlton you get what you pay for that being said itā€™s great for the price. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It has a 7/11 just outside the lobby that was convenient.

I was totally pleased with the location, service and price. The only opportunity of improvement was that the rooms were a bit on the small side. Other than that, I would book this place again.

Simple, clean and comfortable hotel!

Overall, I had a comfortable time in Red Planet Malate Mabini. The AC was working well, the facillities were clean and shower can be switched both cold and warm water. I made a good decistion to book this hotel, which was actually recommended from my local friend in Manila. The only thing I found unconfortable was the high humidity in the room, as the AC probably didn't have a dehumidifier setting. So my room's floor was wet after I took a shower. It would be more comfortable if a dehumifier is stationed in each rooms.

Was near to the museums. I did not know that it was in hookerville. Bunch of pokpoks and KTV with hookers and hooker massages. Noisy at night and noisy in mornings. While smoking cigarette outside was propositioned for KTV. Man had herpes all up on his face another had skin rashes as well. Filthy area wouldn't take the kids to this hotel. All in all I was happy to have hot water shower and a safe place to sleep

I think the quality is high for the price. The staff are also kind and pleasant. There are almost no amenities, but the store on the 1st floor can accommodate you. It is not a very safe area, so it is better to use grab etc. and avoid walking at night.

Essentials done well

Our stay there was nice. The room was smaller than the picture we saw, and it had necessities BUT no extras. It has a comfortable bed, a good shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. No frig, drinks, coffee, pot for boiling water, etc. I think their approach is good! They do the essentials well and even helped us extend our stay, watched our bags, etc. There is a 7-11 and restaurant attached so it convenient. It is also close to Robinson Mall. Be aware it is in the Korea town redlight district, so if you have kids you might want a Red Planet in a different part of Manila.
