「Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .」

「UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again.」

「A very comfortable stay in a lovely guesthouse, well situated in Castle Cary. The hosts gave a very warm welcome and we appreciated their local knowledge and tips. Breakfast was exceptional with a great variety fresh fruits and compotes, as well as homemade granola and pastries. All in all, one of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommended.」
