「Happy: helpful staff, great breakfast, Clean and cozy room, comfortable bed, good shower, picturesque window view, 24-hour self service bar, 5 minutes walk to town centre. Unhappy: room too warm during daytime in summer, and we didn't know that dinner must be booked before 4pm, so missed it. Overall a great place to stay, would love to go again and try the dinner.」

「Very pleasing location with great view to Bristol Channel. Super friendly and helpful young couple is running it. If we would be in Lynton again, definetely we would consider to be there again!」

「Great day, great breakfast, great hosts」

「Our stay at the Lorna Doone B&B could not have been better! We loved everything about our experience in this beautiful house with fantastically friendly hosts. Great room, a delicious breakfast and wonderful people who made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. Certainly one of the best places that we have ever had the luck to experience.」

「Very friendly. I was assisted up the stairs with a suitcase. One problem was that I couldn't drop the suitcase at the front door of the hotel as there was no entry signs at each end of the road so I had to trundle my case from the car park. I may have booked a nearer car park had I known.」

「The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house.」

「Wonderful, friendly, local on a lovely street. Some great scenery and local walks. Pub next door. Great traditional B&B. James and Jane are very caring and want your stay the best it can be.」

「Nice, bright room at the top of the inn looking over the village street down to Hurlstone Point. Big, clean en-suite. Good full English breakfast, very friendly staff who wanted to be sure we were happy. The bar was lively in the evening with plenty of groups at the sofas, tables and bar-stools.」

「Excellent location, close to many great areas and beaches Very comfortable accommodation, friendly owners and wonderful breakfast options」

「Lovely hosts, really excellent breakfasts, good facilities, clean and comfortable room. A real 10/10 sort of place.」

「We absolutely loved our stay. Our room (Danesbrook) was beautiful, with a great view and a really comfy bed. We loved the honesty bar which was well stocked and very reasonably priced. We didn't try the chef prepared ready meals but the selection looked good. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. EV charger was 47p per kWh which saved us a bunch on public charging. Tennis and squash also available!」

「1 night stay for work purposes. Great little room, it had everything needed. Bed a little squeaky but for 1 night it was fine. Very clean and welcoming, good location and managed to park easily.」

「Welcome was great with a cup of tea. Very friendly. Beautiful quiet, rural farm setting. Pet friendly. Totally suited our needs with easy access to Barnstaple, Instow, RHS Rosemoor.」

「Lovely stay, rooms located separate from the pub to keep noise down. Staff were brilliant and very reasonably priced.」

「The accommodations were so lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Caroline is a delightful person and hostess and their food was outstanding We could not have had a better experience than we did in this overall wonderful setting」
