Beware of the small prints

Very clean and new, good position BUT beware of the small prints. Some days before the check-in I received this message from the owner: "Please remember that you are booking an apartment, not a hotel. We try to be as accommodating as possible, however, if you arrive between 7:00PM and 8:59PM there will be a £30 late check-in fee. Between 9:00PM and 10:59PM the fee is £50, between 11:00PM and 12:59AM the fee is £80. After and including 1:00AM the fee is £100. This is to be paid in cash (GBP £) at the check in." My flight (already booked) arrived at 22:30, so I had to pay an extra £80. I complained with Hotels.com because when I booked this was not clear to me. They replied that it was written somewhere, so...

Nice place but poor customer service

This place is located in nice part of London and is just a Metro ride away from a number of nice spots. The apartment itself is in good condition. A few things which did not contribute to a great experience: 1. You need to exactly specify when you are arriving so they can meet up with you in the restaurant across the property. They don't have a front desk as it is an apartment. And you have to be there when you say that you will be there. Nothing wrong here of course. But if they are not yet available when you get to London, you will have to wait until they become available to check you in. 2. They don't refund the check-in deposit of £400 automatically. I was under the impression that this amount will be returned after two weeks without you having to do anything else. I didn't realise that I even have to write them an email and list down a few details to get the refund back. I only found out about this a month after the deposit was taken out. Not cool at all.

Exceptional! beyond words. A hidden germ.

Stayed here for 5 nights with family and had the most amazing experience ever, better than a fancy hotel. The place is spacious and very clean. Everything in the apartments works perfectly. The host is so nice, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The area is amazing, local Sainburys nearby and a short distance walk to Harrods! And a Chanel boutique is just behind your behind apartment. Overall 10/10, I would give it 20 if i can.
