Basic and noisy but great location

Check in worked ok with instructions sent via WhatsApp. Room as per pictures although not “newly refurbished” as implied by the host. Very good location, close to Kings Cross station but the street noise was a problem and didn’t stop all night. I didn’t manage to sleep at all on the first night we stayed. Kitchen facilities meant we could make breakfast but very small area to cook and dine for a family group. No washing up liquid provided. It was sufficient but we wouldn’t revisit.

Check in was easy, contact with agent was via WhatsApp. There was a noticeable smell once in the apartment. Drain in the shower stall was very slow. I got bug bites when I woke up the next day. Property didn’t indicate that there was no lift which would’ve been a plus for travelers with luggages that need to go up three steep flight of stairs to check in.

The apartment was great! Excellent location - 2 minute walk to Kings Cross Station. Comfortable bed and nice to have a fridge and kitchen items!

Good location. There is a very dark and straight stairs before you can get to your room. With the broken handle on the 1st day arrival. It was extremely dangerous. Definitely not recommend to older people. 24 hours non-stop traffic are just right outside your window. Extremely noisy!!!! Your safety is another big concern with beggar down the apartment main door at night. A big NoNo for people considering this apartment. Unless you don’t need a sleep(:

Not recommended

Pros—a great location with kitchen, washer, and separate bedroom. Cons—this was the singular worst lodging experience of our lives. We arrived in London during a heatwave, and with no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open or it would be too hot to sleep. But the open windows let in endless noise, keeping us from being able to sleep. In desperation we closed the windows, and it was then both too hot and still too noisy to sleep. It was so miserable and we got so little rest that despite having paid a high price for each of two nights we’d reserved, we left after just one.

Miserabler Standard für überteuerte Unterkunft

Guten Tag Wir sind langjährige Hotel.com Kunden und haben auch die Silvesterreise über die Plattform gebucht. Aktuell sind wir 3 Nächte in London. Leider hat die Unterkunft einige Hygienische und Renovationsmängel, auf welche bei der Buchung nicht hingewiesen wurde. Wir sind uns eine solche schlechte Qualität bisher von Hotel.com nicht gewohnt und werden eine Teilrückerstattung fordern. Die restlichen 2 Tage/Nächte werden wir noch ausharren und freuen uns dann auf ein hoffentlich besseres Hotel (3 Nächte in Birmingham). Gerne hören wir von Ihnen. Freundliche Grüsse Thomas Vogel

Séjour à Londres

L'hôtel est très bien situé (un peu bruyant), mais on ne peut pas être dans le centre et au calme. Il y a tout le nécessaire, draps, serviettes et les bases nécessaires à la cuisine (thé, café, sucre, sel, huile...) Ce qui est très appréciable. La petite cuisine est également bien pratique pour se faire des petits plats! Au pied de l'hôtel il y a une épicerie ouverte de 7h à 23h. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel est extrêmement réactif nous avons eu un petit souci à notre arrivée car notre chambre était prise mais nous l'avons contacté et en 10 mn le problème était réglé.

The location is everything, it doesn't get much better than this, and theflat is spacious. Communication is decent this time around, but previous experiences were awful. if you get a good price go for it, but dont expect too much
