「Following its recent refurbishment, The Tarbet Hotel blends historic elegance with modern comfort in a stunning location, great for hillwalkers and couples. My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was exceptional!」

「Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . Thank you for a super stay , we will be back ! 」

「The hotel was spotless warm and welcoming. We came out of season which was nice. It was quiet and peaceful. There are spectacular views of the Loch and mountains. Our room had an outdoor space looking into the Loch where swans came to say hello. In the evening we sat down for a meal seated near the window. Staff were polite and knowledgeable about the hotels history. Food was tasty and well presented. We will be returning in the summer. 」

「This was our favourite stay during our road trip around west Scotland The staff were incredibly polite and kind natured The food was amazing ( large portions ) The decor is quirky and charming We stayed in what I could better describe as an apartment more so than a room- stone floors and lovely and clean The staff recommended a walk for us with the kids and it was perfect, alongside the loch, to beaches with incredible views Very nice place indeed 」

「Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette.」
