" We have just returned from our one night stay 19/12 -20/12 and I just really wanted to say what an amazing hotel and bar it is , we had a mix up but decided to keep the stay and upgrade so we could bring our daughter and when I called hotels.com were so helpful and sorted it straight away. Then when we arrive the lady who checked us in was wonderful, letting us know what we needed to know as well as any other information she thought would be helpful, my daughter loved the room and how much space we had it was clean and spacious once we returned from our evening meal we asked if we could borrow a game to play from the bar and they were so generous saying take whatever you’d like, so again our little one was made up. Although it was “mad Friday” the rooms had very little noise from the bar and we were in Room 1 which was basically on top of the bar ! The breakfast basket was a great touch with something for everyone in which I did not realise we got when booking so it was great to put us on till lunch. Overall they are most definitely a 5* hotel and we are already planning on returning and will definitely be spreading the word ! "
