「The hotel was very dirty. Garbage cans overflowing outside. Moldy ac vent in the room. Garbage left in the room from previous tenants. cockroach in our bathroom. The sink had snot and toothpaste residue from previous tenants.」

「We have stayed at Old Kinderhook a number of times over the last several years. The staff are so friendly, the property is well maintained and clean. My husband loves the golf course!! We do feel the rooms need a major remodel and update. In the past we had to ask for a hair dryer, but we did have one in our room this visit. 「The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. 「I’ve never experienced a team of employees so eager to go home. They literally told people relaxing at the pool to get up so they could remove pool cushions 30 minutes before close so they could go home early. Bar closed early… basically when the bartender felt like it, restaurant closed early too. Nothing ever happened as advertised.
