「Pier B was very nice. The fire pits and outdoor hot tub over looking Lake Superior were quite unique. The restaurant and bar area were nice. It’s walkable to the Canal Park area. We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary.」

「The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.」

「AC worked, but not well. Room was cool but very humid. Property has amazing character and a very industrial feel. Bed was comfortable, room was enormous.」

「Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

「Excellent room and services」

「The photos were definitely deceiving. The hot tub was broken, one of the elevators was broken. We had to take stairs from the 10th floor. Lots of weed smell, dingy lighting, outdated atmosphere. Everyone we talked to was having a poor experience as well with this hotel and with the staff not being helpful with their issues. The only saving grace was that the actual room was clean and fairly updated. Thin walls. If we had brought our kids, we would not have stayed.」
