「Hotel advertised as a hotel with continental breakfast. Only has coffee and juice Room was clean but need major updates on property. Our room by windows floor was cracking and dent on floor. Other was good for sleeping hotel」

I had a very hard time finding it because it is listed as "The St Joseph Inn & Suites" and finally found it as "The Quality Inn Hotel" after stopping and inquiring at places in the area. 「I really enjoy the character of historic hotels. I think they are neat if well kept up, and Historic Hotel Nichols did not disappoint. It was in walking distance to the lake/pier. 「Upon checkin the front desk gal charged me $50 more than my Expedia reservation, when I asked why, she stated the room rates where $269 a night, I said don't you have to honor the Expedia rate, and at first she acted like no, then when I showed her the reservation, she then changed her tune and stated it was a $25 security deposit per night, that would go towards my $75 pet fee. 「Not good. I knew not to expect much but for $104 a night but I didn’t think it would also smell like sewage and vomit. Stained mattress cover hanging out of the sheet, unreal grime levels as pictured. Would not have stayed the night if I’d seen these things before getting back to the room too late to leave….not worth it.
