「This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. 」

「Pools were not maintained supposed to be heated and was not. One of the hot tubs was ice cold. One of the outdoor pools were unusable with green water. The indoor outdoor pool was cold and full of pollen. This cement around the pool was all cracked and broken with large chunks missing with rugs over the cracks which I thought was a big hazard. 「I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I could hear very clearly the guests in the room above us. Very thin floors. Water pressure on the shower was poor. Definitely not worth the $260 we paid.」

「When we got to the office ar the Waters, we couldn’t find a soul in sight to get us checked in. We called multiple times, rang the ring doorbell multiple times… no response. Went to the bar across the road and they knew the owner and said he was sleeping. We went back over and sat in front of the room hoping he would greet, apologize, etc….he never even showed his face and made zero effort to honor the booking. Needless to say, we were Extremely disappointed with this booking that left us...

「Amazing! Great location for snowmobiling, enough space for all us guys and our gear! Maintenance was great! Got a foot of snow while there and the plowing was done when we were out. Rooms were great, bed perfect, showers clean. We will for sure be back next year!」

「You should know what you're getting by the price. It's not the Four Seasons. It's a decades old building with the bare minimum in terms of amenities. But it's in the heart of beautiful downtown Gaylord. We stayed a full week and enjoyed our stay.」

「When you rent a room through Expedia, the property gives you the worst possible room they have in the worst possible location. It would be okay if the room cost $40 a night but I still pay close to $100 a night for the crapiest room they have. The room they gave me was in the way back at the end of a long hallway where they were remodeling the interior of the building at 9 AM in the morning. The workers were Mexican and lived in a room down the hall from the roommate occupied.」
