「The staff were very kind. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean! This historical lodge the only one that is left in Michigan is charming and quaint. The fly fishing was great! We will be back!」

「I didn't have Verizon service and you do need to call to check in, that was my main problem. It was very clean and cute. WiFi in our room didn't work well.」

「There was only one small piece of soap, so none for the shower. The bath/ shower had a short shower curtain that only blew in on you while you take a shower. It had no magnet/weights to hold it down. The bathroom light switch turns on both the light and fan therefore if you use the room at night, it's noisy and disturbs the other people that are trying to sleep. Room is very dated in decor. Pretty pricey for the type of facility it is.」

「Amazing! Great location for snowmobiling, enough space for all us guys and our gear! Maintenance was great! Got a foot of snow while there and the plowing was done when we were out. Rooms were great, bed perfect, showers clean. We will for sure be back next year!」

「I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I could hear very clearly the guests in the room above us. Very thin floors. Water pressure on the shower was poor. Definitely not worth the $260 we paid.」

「The bed comfort was on par with 5 star hotels. The room has most everything you need, mini fridge, usb outlets in abundance, free 24 hour coffee and water machine in lobby. Excellent breakfast with amazing waffles. April ( I think that’s her name, she was training someone) was a super breakfast attendant. Really high ceilings which was a surprise so nice large room. Only negative is there is no sound proofing. I could hear the neighbors TV, people upstairs walking around, hallway noise. Luckily...

「I did not stay there - I checked back out and had to pay for another hotel in the area for both nights it was totally horrible - the whole hotel smelled, everything was dirty, stains on carpet and walls, holes in walls, no window screens, even the door from the outside by my room not only would not lock but did not even close!!! Be happy to explain more - but I really want a full refund - HORRIBLE」
