Not gonna lie i felt at home with them they were great and felt comfortable than any rich and luxurious hotel, we didn’t had any issue the staff gave us recommendation of where to go and they had a lot of rental material for our tour its 100% recommended

Great stay! The property was nice and clean. The common areas were easy to use and felt social. We also rented bikes from the hotel and they were great and affordable! The desk staff was knowledgable about biking paths in the area.

This place is incredible, run by a family of four they were so incredibly helpful. Their English was excellent and the location was very close to bus stops and convenience stores. There are shared spaces so do be aware of that and the rooms have great AC but the shared spaces tend to be closer to outside temps. Overall, this place was incredible and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Kyoto.

Great hosts! Note that this is a genuine Bed and breakfast, so bathroom facilities are shared. This is a good place for people just entering Japan, as the hosts are fluent in English. Other nationalities are well represented.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were very clean and had a modern feel. There is a LUUP electric bike/scooter park on site which is great for getting to and from the local stations.

Hosts were very kind, you have use of the common kitchen which is nice, and the rooms are spacious and clean. All shared spaces are kept very clean as well and it is quiet at night. The space is very organized and there's a map in the room showing all nearby restaurants, onsen, etc. The futon is also very comfortable!

Must choose hotel in Kyoto

Fantastic place to be for spending your time at kyoto. Room is clean. Staffs is kind and good an English. The location is close to bus stops and nearby is Kyoto Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium. And the prices is reasonable compared to other hotels in Kyoto. Overall a must choose if you looking for hotel in Kyoto.

Everyone was super friendly, the futon style beds were very comfortable. Only 15 minute walk to the nearest station and some nice restaurants in the area. Only little thing is that the walls are thin so you can hear a lot, and the shared showers/toilets are in high demand in the morning.

As soon as we arrived it felt calm and peaceful in the property. Check-in was easy and staff showed us to our room and where amenities were etc. The bedroom had enough space for two people and two large backpacks. The showers and toilets were perfectly clean and although there are a lot of rooms in the property we only waited once for a shower (for 5-10 minutes). The communal kitchen and living space was also spotless. Beds are futon style and I had a comfortable sleep. Bedroom had a window and aircon system. Staff were lovely and always on hand if needed. A wonderful stay and highly recommended!

We feel asleep well past our alarm the next morning. This summarizes our stay at Fujitaya: very clean, very comfortable, and an overall great stay. Both hosts were super accommodating and helpful. The property itself is in a quiet neighbourhood. Though it is not near train station, it is a short bus ride from Kyoto Station and a nearby local train station.

Very friendly hosts. Quite, clean and good located. Bus stop is next to the door, 2 supernarkets too. And railway is 15min away. Shared bathroom are cleaned every and are spotless. Would definitely recommend as we had a great 5 day stay kn Kyoto. It is possible to leave the bags prior check in from 8am and also leave the bags after check out at 10am. Thank you very much.

My friend and I had a good 3-night stay at Fujitaya. The hosts are extremely kind and we enjoyed the events and sense of community. However, as we were working remotely, we found it a bit challenging to focus due to the hosts' two young children.
