「It was clean just not walkable to downtown」

「Our room was on the lower level, which felt like a basement (room had no windows). The room itself was okay, nice pitcher of water and glasses set out for us, which was nice. Linens and towels were good quality and very clean. Bed was comfortable, we slept well. Couldn’t wash my hair in shower because rainhead had weak pressure and would have taken forever to rinse out shampoo. The lower level hallway to the room smelled a bit musty and seemed a little run down. Parking was a bit rough since...

「The hotel is situated in a wooded area that makes you feel like you are in the wild. There are several places to sit outside that are shaded including an area to eat breakfast outside on a porch. It is a well kept building and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Employees we encountered were very pleasant including the breakfast woman. Would stay here again!」

「The room was lovely, I really liked that the vanity was away from the toilet area and that there was separate counter space for the coffee teas area. Breakfast was good. Staff was great.」

「The staff was very efficient and helpful. Location, great. Our room was a disappointment. Room was outdated, stuffy, and hadn't been cleaned properly. There were crumbs all over one of nightstands, with lots of little handprints on it. The outside wall with a window had a very large stain on it, which appeared to be patched, but still looked like we were staying at the site of an old crime scene. Also, no comfortable place to sit in lobby area :(」

「The desk clerk named “Mimi” was EXTREMELY HELPFUL to us when we discovered that our reservation had not been effective. She worked with us to get the same type of room that we thought we had reserved. Mimi should be recognized by her boss - she is a GREAT representative of what an employee SHOULD BE!!!」

「Just a very pleasant surprise on many levels. This is a smaller hotel that is newer, yet retains its charm as a unique, mountain type escape. Staff is extremely helpful. Be aware that because this is not a chain, staff hours are not 24/7, so it is worth confirming your arrival time with the hotel directly a day or two in advance to ensure someone is there to greet you and get you checked in.
