「This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

「Chetola is a very old, outdated and tired facility. They have no real amenities. The swimming pool is a dark inside pool. The restaurant is still under renovations and was closed (since before May).」

「Other than the day we checked in there was never anyone at the front desk and to dorr to the lobby was almost always locked. No extra towels or coffee was available.」

「Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...

「Darren is great. Very helpful and courteous. Quaint family owned inn. Clean rooms with excellent view.」

「This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.」

Feel love the ambience of the back lighting on the bed with a view of the mountains. The Blue Ridge mountains. Bathroom was clean included microwave fridge coffee maker. They even recycled which was a plus. Dog friendly, which is always appreciated outdoor eating space or just a spot to chill in the mornings or the afternoons. Breakfast was included,...
