"I stayed at one of the airport-area branches of Henn na Hotel in Japan. I know this hotel brand is quite well-known for its robot front desk, and this was my first time trying one near the airport. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Here are some detailed thoughts: 1. Location & Surroundings (a) Distance: It’s not as close to the airport as I expected. It took me about 10 minutes by taxi. (b) Environment: The surrounding area is very quiet, which I appreciated. (c) Convenience: The nearest convenience store is about a 10-minute walk away. However, it’s quite large and offers a great variety of food options. 2. Robot Self-Service I would say this experience is a bit of a mixed bag. While it’s interesting, it can sometimes take longer than expected. For example, scanning documents felt slower than if it were handled by a human staff member. 3. Dining Experience (a) Breakfast: Surprisingly excellent. I highly recommend it — the food tasted great and there was a wide variety of choices. (b) Late-night food: A very thoughtful touch is that the hotel offers frozen meals for guests arriving late at night. They are affordable and can be easily heated in the microwave, which is quite convenient. 4. Room Condition The room was clean and well-maintained, meeting standard expectations. "Had a very good experience staying at Yokohama Bay Hotel. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is perfect and the overall service is outstanding. The only slight downside is that the room looks a bit old, but it was spotlessly clean, which made the stay very comfortable."
