Budapest Marriott Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel and in a fantastic location, the sky bar was amazing with a view of the Danube. I haven’t marked the hotel down on this but there was a rock band that set up outside the hotel each night and it was extremely loud, don’t know if this is usual and when we visited the sky bar because we weren’t sure we would spend €100, bearing in mind we already had a voucher for a free cocktail, we were sat around the back. This was disappointing as we are gold members."

"Excellent hotel! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and made for a wonderful stay. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is excellent—we were able to walk to many of the city’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas - making it easy to explore. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here"

"Everything about this hotel was excellent. The rooms, facilities and service were all first class, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only area that let it down slightly was breakfast. The staff worked incredibly hard and were always friendly, but there simply weren't enough of them to cope with the morning rush, which led to delays. The chef could also improve the poached eggs. Every morning mine arrived hard rather than runny, even after I asked for them to be redone. A relatively minor issue in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. If we return to the area, we would definitely choose to stay here again. It's a top-class hotel that I would happily recommend."
