Staff and experience at Leon Hotel were second to none! We celebrated a fantastic birthday weekend here and could not have been happier with our choice of hotel. Spectacular views onto the Danub river, lots of attention to detail . Friendly staff went above and beyond to take care of us from the moment we checked in to checking out. Breakfast was a highlight, generous and delicious. Beds are super comfy and shower was amazing. Special shout out to Erzsèbet, Geri and Adam. Thank you to the whole team for making our weekend a memorable one!

Our experience at the Leon Hotel & Lounge was wonderful and we would highly recommend it based on our stay. Our suite on the top floor was amazing with 4 poster bed, bath tub with a panoramic view and a large private terrace overlooking the Danube and the Chain Bridge. All staff were very helpful and very friendly. Great breakfast and ideal location, especially for the town centre and Christmas Markets - all together a perfect stay.

Lovely clean, comfortable hotel which has recently reopened. Excellent friendly service, good quality food, good selection at breakfast. Rooms were spotless and all staff we encountered were friendly. Great location right on the Danube but away from the hustle and bustle of Pest. Excellent public transport links nearby.

Yes, clean modern room with comfortable king bed, everything was excellent. Bathroom was big. However, bath tub was steep and getting in and out was difficult; also water was spraying all over as shower glass divider was too narrow. Staff were always cheerful and welcoming and helpful. Hotel location was excellent (elevator to Budapest Castle was just a few doors away) and walking distance to Chain Bridge. We had breakfast added to our room rate and it was ala carte! Would definitely recommend staying there!

The rooms were clean and amazing we had a city view and it made our experience. Cleaning was available everyday and we would always come back to a clean room. I had injured myself whilst being in Budapest and as soon as I came back to the hotel the staff were supportive and helpful. Thank you. We were offered breakfast for free on one of the days as the electricity was out for the day which was out of their control so they had accommodated accordingly.

Nice modern hotel which has recently been updated. Our room facing the front and over looking the river was a nice size, clean and very modern. The room was very quiet, with very little or no noise from the road/street. In the room was a coffee machine with pods and a kettle which was not listed and was a nice surprise for those of us who like a nice cup of tea. The staff throughout were very friendly and accommodating, especially the reception staff who were excellant.

Great location, walkable to city centre and attractions and yet far enough away for a good nights sleep.Got a room with a view which was nice….overlooking the ‘Chain bridge’ which was spectacular all lit up at night Great staff enthusiasm which help make our stay comfortable considering the hotel was still being renovated. Comfy bed, nice clean sheets and pillows and the room was cleaned impeccable everyday. Contractors were still on site during our visit however they made no noise and were exceptionally considerate.

The service was great and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. One thing is they make you pay the tourist tax at the END of your trip which can be quite depressing on the last day of your holiday, but I do understand that it has to be paid, it just would have been preferred at the start of the holiday so there is no financial burden on the last day. The accommodation was in a perfect location just at the bottom of two main attractions. It’s away from hustle and bustle but just a short walk over the river to all of the shops and more great attractions. The only fault to say is the shower was very disappointing, quite a lot of the time the water was cold and the shower head is small and hand held. There is no overhead shower head which makes it very difficult to wash your hair for example as your arm gets achy. This wasn’t very relaxing as I feel that’s what you should get out of a shower. It also made the bathroom extremely wet as the water would just go everywhere. I understand that the hotel has only been open for a few weeks so I’m sure this problem will be brought up more and be fixed as it is an easy one. But apart from that mine and my partner’s stay was perfect.
