「Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at. The desk is scarcely manned. The phone just rings and rings. A sign in lugubrious English is left out for those already at the hotel with a mobile number on it, but those who are trying to call in advance are damned. There is a stench of damp in the hallway. The room is small, dark and unclean. Not recommended by any stretch of the imagination.」

「Good location, easy to find just off the M5 with a bus stop nearby for regular buses into the centre of Exeter - we went into the city for dinner. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on reception. The hotel is fairly new and is very clean with fresh and airy decoration. The room was spacious, but very hot. The AC didn't really seem to do a lot. The bed was very soft and although was comfortable, we did ache in the morning. In the morning, the shower wasn't particularly strong or hot, but it did the...

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」
