"The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night."

"Our stay at Sandpiper guest house was superb from start to finish. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the host whom was very polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Harbour was roughly a 15 min walk and the breakfast was very good. We would recommend staying here for anyone travelling to Torquay and we will definitely be returning."
