What a fantastic place. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. We were lucky to be upgraded to a sea view and what a beautiful view it was. Breakfast was very good. We shall definitely stay here again when next in Torquay. 😀

What a gem of a place to stay! We will definitely return! A very warm welcome, great, free parking, comfy room, wonderful pool & poolside area and a lovely breakfast.. we will look forward to returning. Julia & Jamie just cannot do enough for their guests..!

A very warm and friendly hotel. Everyone is super friendly. The room is nice and big. The breakfast was excellent. We didn’t have the chance to use the heated swimming pool but seemed lovely.

A cracker of a hotel

A really cracking hotel, nothing too much trouble for the owners who had thought of minor details to ensure a good experience. Would definitely stay here again, location good, plenty of parking and a good breakfast.

The Cimon was exactly as you see in the pictures. Stylish clean rooms with a fantastic sea view. The pool not only looked amazing with a tropical vibe to rival any foreign get away, it was amazing and warm! The weather just made it perfect. Our hosts were attentive, informative and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend and will book again 100%

I was at The Cimon for a brief stay but would highly recommend it. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. The room was spotless clean and well equipped with a very comfort bed and nice linens. The breakfast the following morning was first class!

Property owner Julia was excellent, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a balcony room which gave us extra space during our stay. Balcony is small but adequate for 2 people to sit out and enjoy the sea view and fresh air. Bed was comfortable. Property is very clean and well presented. Lovely outdoor pool and garden area.

Highly recommend Cimon

I would highly recommend a stay at Cimon, great location walkable to everything, free parking, very comfortable accommodation. The hosts are very helpful with some great tips. The pool looks fab for the warmer days, we’ll be back to try it on a future stay!

Wonderful Home to Explore Torquay!

The Cimon is run by Julia and Jamie and is a 12-room B&B that is comfy, cozy and feels like you are staying at their home (you are!). My friend Kim and I stayed two nights so we could explore all things Agatha Christie, and Julia recommended a stellar tour guide Graham who really made our trip, and Jamie recommended an excellent seafood spot (No. 7 Fish Bistro/Wine Bar). The common areas include a swimming pool and patio for the summer months and a conservatory for breakfast and happy hour cocktails made with local spirits. The rooms and lounges are comfy and have everything you need. The Cimon is within walking distance or a short cab ride to everything you want to see and do in Torquay. Highly recommend and thank you Julia and Jamie for such a welcoming stay!

Great Place to Stay

The Hotel is well positioned with nice facilties including a lovely pool and seating area. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and really tasty food. The owners and staff are really nice and friendly and happy to help. We will stay again next time we are down in Torquay.

Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The host was very knowledgable about the area and gave us good advice on ferries, dining options and local attractions and walks/hikes.
