「Great location, beautiful grounds but rooms are in need of maintenance: The toilet seat does not fit properly, the toilet pan is cracked, the bath is not clean, the window blind does not work, the wallpaper is torn, the carpet is stained, and the windows can not be secured when open due to a broken latch. And...NO hot water!! (so no shower!) Breakfast was disappointing too as the coffee machine was broken and so was the toaster (so no toast)...」

For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. Room good size, nice coffee maker, clean fresh comfortable bed with nice pillows. Enjoyed trying out the Dyson hairdryer. Bath nice and long. 「Staff were very good, we arrived quite late at night because of the train mishap. It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious.
