「Die Lage ist einzigartig mit der riesigen Parkanlage. Ein richtig tolles altenglisches Herrenhaus. Wir waren im Haupthaus untergebracht. Einziges Manko ist das Schwimmbad, welches erheblich renovierungsbedürftig ist. Eigentlich würde ich es schließen, weil dieses überhaupt nicht dem Anwesen gerecht wird. Duschen verschimmelt, von den Decken löst sich die Verkleidung. Das Wasser war trüb. Ganz lieblos und runtergekommen. Das superschöne Anwesen hat diesen Pool sicher nicht verdient. Wir haben...

It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious. 「easy access, lovely spacious room, good central location & ample secure parking. Only grumble was that we left windows open and there was a lot of traffic noise in the morning - should have used the fan (provided) instead, so our mistake. Plus, some of the UHT milks and decaf coffee sachets provided were out of date. Overall however, would definitely stay there again」

「This is a lovely historic hotel and we enjoyed our stay apart from one thing (but this was promptly rectified) : initially we had a front bedroom facing the road which was busy and noisy all through the night. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a rear bedroom which was wonderfully spacious and with much better facilities. The staff were very pleasant, polite and efficient, the hotel was fascinating and well-kept, and we would certainly stay there again.」
