"Our second stay at the hotel, this time in the standard pitch view room- previous stay was in the penthouse room. View in the standard room was great, room modernised and clean. Downside was how bright the room was at night. Lights cultivating the pitch illuminated the room, the curtains did not cover the glow which made for a awful nights sleep. Our penthouse stay was much better, comfier bed/bedding, darker room with light creeping through the curtains. Breakfast on this occasion was also disappointing. We came down at 830am, no croissants or bagels, two different small fruit pastries that were undercooked and soggy. On the hot counter food had obviously sat on display for a while, hardly any mushrooms, hash browns were soggy, sausages were ok but the again eggs scrambled and fried had sat there for a while. The black pudding didn't look cooked, just dry and hard. The breakfast we had on our first visit was cooked to order, and was great. Sadly this visit disappointed food and comfort wise."

"Food was terrible for the price, rooms dated and bed uncomfy, wasn’t asked how I’d like to pay just took the money from my wife’s card that was only for confirmation of booking apparently. Obvs not the case!! "

"Stayed for work. facilities ok. Information said the gym opened at 5am so I set an alarm for a workout to find out the gym was shut. This should have been explained at check in. "

"From the outside it doesn't look like a nice hotel but inside its really nice. Its an old Premier Inn with the same purple interior and well looked after. Really nice guy at the check in desk, nice pub next door, free parking and a 20 min walk into Chorley town."

"No staff Andy did not see. Bathroom was a DIY nightmare. Cooker oven broken. Wall paper falling off on stairs. Must have been the smallest room double bed with foot space around edge . Could only open bathroom door half way because of space in room 3 "
