「Not the hotel but a party came back from Manchester at 1.00am and kept us up all night and we checked out at 4.30am and no offer of changing rooms or anything but sorry.」

「Stayed at the Black Dog Inn in Bolton for two nights. The room itself was comfortable enough for the price, so no major complaints there. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume. 「It was pretty good overall. No light switch near the bed, the duvet was too heavy. I didn't like not having a key and it was a nuisance having to keep a note of codes and having to type them in every time you entered. Also, I didn't like receiving the codes at the last minute. But these are all minor points, overall it was good.」

「Room was very clean as was the bathroom. It had everything you needed and it was all clearly labelled. Kingsize bed was really comfy. Curtains were blackout so no light got through. Situated in a lovely quiet area so there was no noise throughout the night. Throughly enjoyed the room. Had no issues are complaints. 」

「The bed was comfortable and in room amenities were good as well with a clean room The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable in the summer with the room situated next to a car park on ground floor with reduced privacy given windows had to be open The carpets do show their age I feel our stay was ok outwith all of this and it’s location ideal as short drive to motorway」

「This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.」

「The hotel was fabulous ….the food was tasty and good value for money. The breakfast and service was exceptional. The rate for the room was brilliant. We would definitely visit again, a great place to stay」
