A minor thing…but having a decent normal hair dryer as opposed to some rubbish one attached to the wall was an unexpected joy lol The staff were all very friendly and helpful. 「Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return.」

「The rooms were really clean, and the staff was amazing. They were helpful and attentive to anything that I needed. The food, oh my, the food - so, so good. Over the course of a week, I had the fish & chips, the burger, a chicken Caesar salad, and multiple variations of the eggs Benedict. The location is great, providing lots of opportunities to explore and walk around. Thanks, Hartford Hall!」

「The atmosphere and relative value for a 4 star hotel make this worth the stay. The carpet in my room had stains, including a fairly large one, which took away from the otherwise clean and spacious room. The hotel is a little out of the city center, so it is difficult without a car.」
