「I broke down last night and booked this hotel.... Very late arrival after midnight but staff were fantastic, quick check in... Into room and sleep. 「Place is excellent. Room is clean and cozy. Restaurant and pub is top notch - all dishes I've tried are superb. I have stayed here before, but had few issues with the shower - no issues this time at all (water pressure is excellent). 」

「This is a lovely hotel . Very nice room , comfortable and clean. Bathroom was excellent. The dinning area was very nice , food was excellent and the staff were so helpful. In the morning for breakfast the lady who served me even made sure my dog got his own sausage for breakfast . Lovely friendly feel about the place and perfect location to explore the town. Highly recommended.」

「Lovely large bed but a tiny bathroom, although if space is limited that is the best way around so suited us fine. Pleasantly surprised to find permit parking available right at the door of the property, although £4.50 for 24 hours just 200 yards or so away was also most acceptable. Very pleasant, easy walk across Jephson Gardens to the town centre. Reasonable walk to Victoria Park for the Bowls England national finals. Generous breakfast. A great find.」
