My only criticism would be that the whole accommodation area would benefit from from some redecoration as it looked a little tired. "

"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"It is a beautiful and relaxing place and with historical importance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit expensive but then it is very big. If you have big appetite maybe it is worth it."
"Fabulous recent 2 nights stay at the Black Swan Inn . Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient . Our room was a lovely large space and a very big king sized bed which was extremely comfortable . We will definitely return . "
"Lovely cottage set on the doorstep of Hackfall Woods, situated to the rear of the local pub (closed at the moment for refurb) and next to the church.
There is little outside space, just a bench to the front of the property but when you have so much on your doorstep this really is not an issue.
Property had everything you needed and more, beds were comfy and it was clean throughout.
Hosts were easily contactable.
There was a damage deposit to be paid across which is not stated on this site but that is very common now. The deposit was transferred back within 24hrs of checkout."
