"Parking good breakfast food could not eat smoked bacon to hard mushrooms dont like tried dont like smoked salmon on morning and parma ham no toast tried to be too fancy lots people left breakfast."

"The food was excellent; the pate and risotto were delicious. The staff were exceedingly helpful and efficient. Breakfast was Italian and consequently had interesting choices which were very fresh, filling and beautifully presented. The property has EV charging which was one of the reasons we chose it. The room was lovely and comfortable (especially the pillows) with a good size bathroom and nice toiletries. The fresh milk was a welcome addition to the tea/coffee making facilities. Ripon is an interesting town with a cathedral, market place, canal, museums and a friendly feel. We would visit again and recommend both the accommodation and the restaurant "

"A birthday treat for my girlfriend, it was the perfect setting for a cosy weekend away immaculately clean and well presented with everything we needed, really enjoyed out stay and will definitely staying again in the future "

"The main issue was the very strong dog smell in our room. Our stay was during snowy weather, and the room was extremely cold until the portable electric heater had warmed the room up - this took about 5 hours, so I'm glad we didn't check in close to bed time. The shower was an unpredictable dribble that leaked onto the bathroom floor. The kettle was broken so was continuously boiling and the handle was extremely hot, this is of course a safety concern if we had have left it unattended. I was expecting a slightly rough and ready stay due to the bargain price, but I couldn't overlook or resolve the terrible smell. The hole in the blind was a bit unsettling. On a positive note, the bedding and towels were clean and the parking was convenient. The landlady did try to find another heater for us, which we appreciated, however the heater was broken. "
