「Sub-Standard service from Expedia and Sykes Cottages. Our booking got cancelled as the cottage had ‘last minute maintenance’. The booking was for the 2-7th July 2025 and despite a huge amount of emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages - it’s now the 12th July and we have still not received a refund. 」

「Great hotel! Modern and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. On the first night of our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not working. After communication with the reception staff at 2am, he checked us into another room immediately. Really appreciate his efficiency as it was already very late. Had a comfortable stay!」

「The hotel had lots of character. We couldnt fault the room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The little touches like fresh milk and drinks in the fridge on arrival. Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good.」

「A brilliant stay at the Pack Horse again for us, thank you. It's our first choice when visiting relatives. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have good facilities. All the staff are great, the breakfast choice is fantastic and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.」
