"Clean friendly staff"

"Staff were friendly and open to assisting with amenities. Rooms were clean, and towels or soap were available any time of day or night. The gym was open the entire trip, with a variety of equipment, and kept clean by both guests and staff. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"They had some issues with the fire alarm system that interrupted my sleep and ruined my presentation. I ended up having to extend my stay which was costly."

"We had an AMAZING stay at Hotel Arts. For the price, the amenities were excellent, with 2 restaurant/bars, a plush pool area, and small gym conveniently located on site. This may be kind of nerdy, but the fact that the TV was Chromecast enabled was also a plus, allowing no shortage of in-room entertainment. Also, TONS of great places to eat and drink just across the street. We were in town for a convention and the Calgary Expo is about a 10 minute walk that is enjoyable with your morning coffee and opens up access to more great spots including the casino. ;)"

"We were disappointed with our stay. The room was clearly not finished—there was a strong paint smell, drywall dust around the trim, and even holes in the walls. The air conditioning unit appeared to be held up with masking tape, and we couldn’t open the window to air the room out because it was blocked with renovation debris. While the staff did their best to be accommodating, the overall condition of the room made our stay quite unpleasant"

"Clean rooms and a very well-maintained hostel overall. The common areas are great, and the breakfast is simple but does the job. I’d definitely stay here again. Most of the guests I met were in their 20s, often on work-cations, which made for a nice atmosphere. The location is excellent—right downtown, close to transit, and within walking distance of the convention center. One downside: the women’s shower heads could use some maintenance."
