「The only negative I will say about Triggs is it is not a posh upscale expensive resort. The rooms are comfortable and functional and the location is great. You are right on the lake shore. I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked - there was no wine bottle opener for example but we did not need one so I did not ask at the front desk if they could provide one. We stayed at a couple other places while we were in the Iowa lakes region...

「I'm putting in a complaint to Hotels.Com, not the Vintage Block. Once again, Hotels is showing amenities that are not available. This is happening more frequently over the last year or so. Once again, Hotels shows breakfast available, and it's not. I've been looking for an online method of complaining, but it's just not there. Overall the Vintage Block is a great place to stay. Friendly service, clean, quiet. Beautiful room. I'd likely stay again」
