「I just love how quiet and cozy this place at your heart in general is. It's easy to drive to Astoria to go shopping. Go out for a meal. Come back for a nap and less than 20 minutes. Also be in downtown Cannon Beach. You walk a couple of blocks and there's access to a much quieter beach than in Cannon Beach or Long Beach. And as a McMenamin fan, the fact that it's close to the McMenamins restaurant. 」

「I was concerned with the bathroom and shower down the hall, but it ended up not really being an issue. More like staying in a large house. It was a bit of a walk, but never a wait, and never anything but sparkling clean - which speaks volumes not only of the staff, but their clientele. This is a hotel run by genuinely good people, serving extremely pleasant guests.
