「We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. 「We always ask for a river view and it was greatly appreciated」

「Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)」

「Lovely room with jet bath and tv in bathroom nice chill with glass of wine , breakfast was piping hot and delicious, lovely friendly lady waiting on in dining room .」

「城堡景觀家庭房空間大，我們一家人住起來很舒適」

「Excellent」

「Excellent staff very kind and hospitable and very nice pub food and breakfast. LargeTV screen to watch the World Cup and BBC I player to catch up on the highlights, all good.」

「Room clean and beautifully decorated. Warm, lovely hot shower, large fluffy towels. Staff friendly and helpful. Well positioned in the town and good parking.」
