「The property was lovely. Very quaint and unique. The winery was beautiful and the walk around the property is so relaxing. The Gabriel Archer Tavern was delicious. The short drive to market square, colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown made it so easy. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Room and staff were great, but skip the Continental breakfast. They had muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, grits and fruit. They had Eggo waffles and hard boiled eggs that were rubbery.」

「Breakfast differed from breakfast at cheaper hotels in that there were fried sausages, omelet, and grated potatoes. But: they were running out of those, so people had to wait! Sausages were too salty and overfried, fountain drinks were SUPERdiluted with water and smelled like chlorine! Coffee was just "coffee water".」

「The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise.
