"Free breakfast was great! Hotel was what you’d expect with a Holiday Inn Express- not bad by any means, but nothing special at all. We flew in that afternoon and my son and Father attended a concert at Pine Knob which was why we stayed there for the night- we’re from Florida, and hotel rooms with carpet creep me out- hotel rooms here in Florida don’t usually have carpet. This hotel has carpet in the rooms, which I know is typical for Michigan for the most part. Other than that, not bad. Pillows were really uncomfortable and flat- and when we asked for extras, they said they didn’t have any.
Really not terrible if you’re just passing through and need a place to stay. Wouldn’t stay for a long stay, though.
Excellent location- can walk to the Great Lakes Crossings mall and several other restaurants nearby!"

"We stayed here because we were going to a concert at pine knob. It took us about 20 to 25 minutes to walk there. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was also good with lots of variety. The water pressure in the shower was very low but other than that everything else was excellent! Also, eat at the restaurant next door. It was very delicious!"
