「First time staying at Hunter’s Friend Resort and my wife and I will definitely be going back」

「The communication was amazing. When I texted, I received an immediate response. When I notified the property about a broken piece on the sofa bed, they offered to come out and repair it. I believe the previous guests may have broken it and hadn't notified them. Lovely location. Fabulous amenities. Perfect location in relation to Silver Dollar City. Would highly recommend!」

「The property was very clean. Communication was not the best. I received several emails stating I would get all the check in information two days before the check in. The information was not sent until the day of check in. The kitchen is dark, one bulb in the main fixture was not working. Could use a light over the range. With the bed in the loft the Morning sun starts hitting the bed through the window above the a/c unit shortly after sunrise. A blind or shade would be nice to allow some time...

「We have been staying at Shady Acres for decades. It is still a mom&pop type of operation, if you need service 24/7, look elsewhere. Strictly a family and senior clientele, usually well booked up far in advance. We love it.」

「Absolutely loved Cabin #9 and the property. Beautiful view, great porch looking over the lake. We had beautiful weather majority of our stay so we enjoyed the view. The cabin is clean and peaceful and had everything we need to cook with and stay for a while. Property owner is really nice and accommodating. It was a blessing and we will be back. 」

「It was a quick trip. We arrived late Friday night and left early Sunday morning. We pretty much only slept and showered at the resort. We didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities. The house was adorable and very convenient. We chose it originally because it offered more bed space than hotels. The cute bedding in the photos was missing and some of the furniture was scuffed up but otherwise it was exactly as advertised and none of that affected the comfort anyway. I loved it! We slept well.
