「Really run down. In our room, the shower attachment distinegrated, the bathroom fan did not work, the toilet seat was broken, the electric face plate for the towel rail was smashed, the bathroom door had had 2 big holes filled, the carpet was stained. The entire hotel is run down and needs a full refurbishment. Outside, the beer garden has a fake rolled out lawn, cut badly around the edges with trip hazards. Avoid the restaurant. I ordered steak pie and mash. What I got was some meat in a dish...

「There was no restaurant as advertised on website and on hotel notice board. Room very tatty decor. Heater in bathroom and bedroom didn’t work. Window cracked and others filthy. There was also an 18 birthday party below our room with noisy music going on to 1.00am. No way is this a 4 star hotel. Also info given to us about nearby eating places was incorrect. We complained to managress who in fairness was very apologetic and refunded our stay.」
