"The service was excellent, the room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and both breakfasts were delicious. At one point, we called for a taxi but it was running late. Someone from the front desk came down to the road to help us hail a different taxi to help us catch our train. I highly recommend and plan on staying here my next time in Kyoto. "

"Great location. Decent breakfast, served until 11am which is nice. The Premiere King Room is quite small. Maid service only if you stay longer than 3 days. There are no drawers, closets or places to put your luggage or clothes. There is no space between the bed and the wall so you have to crawl in and out of bed….not something I have often encountered. Seems a bit expensive for this setup. Check out the competition in the area before booking."

We got the four semi-double bed room upstairs and it was so large - two separate bedrooms. a nice living and dining room area and then a separate traditional tatami room with low tables for dining or games or just sitting around to talk and spend time with each other.
