"The owners of this hotel are lovely people and I very much enjoyed my short stay. It was quiet, there was sheep outside which was fun to watch and the hotel offered hot food and drinks. I would love to stay here again!"

"If you like to stay in a property that has charm and history then this is for you.....wonderful views across Campbelltown harbour and countryside. Excellent service friendly staff. Delicious food and comfort. Highly recommend."
"Arrived to find sofa bed did not have bed linen. Went to reception to be told the hotel no longer had sofa beds but jayzee single beds. Assured receptionist I had booked a room with large bed and sofa bed in a room for my daughter and I and there was definitely a sofa bed there that just required bed linen. Opened out the sofa bed to discover crumbs, chocolate buttons and a previous guest’s Young Scot card. Room service guy turned up with a jayzee single bed but informed him that there was a sofa bed so could he please just bring us bed linen and vacuum the bed. Nice guy did this. It was like a scene from Fawlty Towers! Carpets in the Lodge rooms need renewed or a professional steam clean to get rid of stains. The changing rooms in the spa area were dirty. Breakfast was lovely and staff at breakfast were friendly. Need to have a TV in the communal lounge area of Lodge accommodation. Messages coming from staff was that the new hotel management was woeful with staff placed on zero hours contracts and many of them leaving in their droves. Would I book again! NO!"
"Room clean and hot water a plenty for shower. Our twin room situated next to public toilet for use by non residents noisy. Quiet during the night nice view of golf course from widow. Tv didn’t work"
"Late May, fine weather and a very busy hotel. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help everyone.
The setting, trees, shrubs and walks were spectacular and the food and drink first class.
A long way from our West Sussex home but worth it."
"Fantastic well-maintained property for a relaxing atmosphere. Wide variety of food options to meet any taste. Clean an comfortable rooms and welcoming common or shared use areas. A surprise oasis. Steven was particularly helpful."
"Wonderful small authentic hotel, with a great view on the harbour. Full Scottish breakfast was excellent. Everything (read Springbank 😅) within walking distance."
"Although it said seaview room, this did not happen. Beds were clean and comfy. We were put in a disable room (that none of us needed) there was a trip hazard with carpet between bedroom & bathroom. The wet room which had poor drainage and after 3 people showered the water flooded the whole bathroom. Without us putting down towels water would have seeped into bedroom.
During our 3 night stay there was no change of towels or beds made although someone had been in the room to empty bins. For the price paid I would have expected a better standard of accommodation. Breakfast was fine, but only offered gluten free bread as an option."
"Good location, near the harbour in Bowmore
Room very good, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with bath
Property is currently changing hands, the sale completed this week
As per previous reviews the previous owner served full Scottish cooked breakfast- the new owner is just doing prepared continental breakfast boxes which you help yourself to from the fridge
We were not expecting this and were quite disappointed. There is nowhere in Bowmore where you can get breakfast so be aware"
