"The parking lot had a lot pot holes, but no worse than most of the streets in my town.
The room was very nice: clean, quiet, and comfortable, all I expect.
The 4 starts was because the shower was only luke warm."

We stayed at this hotel as we had a bass tournament near by. They were very accommodating by giving us ample space to park the truck and boat, including giving a power source to charge batteries. The motel is being remodeled. We got a remodeled room that was very nice. Comfy beds, new ceramic tile floors. Shower was a bit small but it worked fine and was hot. Staff was very friendly pointing out where to eat and such. We will be back for certain.

Nice quiet & tidy place. Not the most modern, but definitely well-kept. I thought it was unique that two of the sides had a nice, peaceful cemetery and some farm animals. The office had a very cute orange & white cat too and cat people are the best people! The gentleman who checked us in was very nice too.

I always stay at American's best Value Inn when I am in Iola. The facility was built back in the '60's...it's extremely well-maintained, but has a retro charm. Everything works well...bathroom is always sparkling...nice-size flat-screen TV's in the rooms.
